Healthy Greek Pita Pizzas

You can still enjoy a pizza without straying from your healthy habits. I have been loving using pita to make mini pizzas with any combination of toppings. This particular recipe is a mediterranean style pizza with a hummus base.

These are so simple & ready to eat in just 15 minutes. A great go-to dinner idea that I rotate at least once a week because it is just THAT easy to throw together after a long day.

Healthy Greek Pita Pizzas

You can still enjoy a pizza without straying from your healthy habits. I have been loving using pita to make mini pizzas with a variety of toppings.

Ingredients

  • 6 pitas
  • Hummus
  • 1 cup English cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Bragg's vinegar
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, halved or chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pink salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Brush the tops of the pita breads with a little avocado oil, and spring with a little salt, oregano and garlic powder.
  2. Broil in oven for 2-3 minutes until just brown
  3. Mix up all of salad ingredients and toss.
  4. Layer pita breads with hummus and then salad mixture!
  5. Enjoy!
