Plant-Based Smoky BBQ Black Bean Quinoa Veggie Burger
Looking for a homemade veggie burger that is quick and delicious?! This one is for you! They keep well all week in the fridge, and if you don't want to cook up the whole batch, you can freeze patties before cooking!
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 30 MinTotal time: 40 Min
Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans (drained)
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Partially mash black beans then add in rest of ingredients. ( I pulse in the food processor)
- Form into 6-8 patties.
- Place on baking sheet with parchment paper and bake 15 minutes. Then flip and brush on more BBQ sauce. Cook 15 more minutes.
- Top with kechup, mustard, tomato, lettuce, pickles, jalapenos! I use Daves Killer Buns!
