Vegan Puff Pastry Asparagus Side Dish

Vegan Puff Pastry Asparagus Side Dish

Taking an appetizer to a holiday party? Need a side dish to include with your holiday dinner? This vegan puff pasty asparagus is the answer!

Ingredients

  • 1 box puffed pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • Kite Hill chive cream cheese
  • Chao cheese slices
  • Salt/pepper/garlic granules

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Trim ends off of asparagus, spray with avocado oil spray and add salt and pepper.
  3. Roll out puffed pastry sheets and cut 5” x 5” squares with a pizza
  4. cutter. Turn the square so that one point is on top.
  5. Add a layer of cream cheese and one slice of the cheese.
  6. Now lay in 3-4 asparagus spears.
  7. Bring ends on right and left together to seal over asparagus.
  8. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Ready to serve.
  9. Enjoy!
